I wrote this 6 years ago but it still seems to be applicable given new water restrictions in Dartmouth and recent revelations about fluoridation systems being down with no notice to the public. Something seems very wrong at Halifax Water. gregbeau.wordpress.com/2018/10/11/i...

So glad I got an emergency alert (in Dartmouth), scaring me out of my skin as usual, for a missing person in Sydney. JFC, get your act together.

Spent parts of the last 3 (!) days trying to set up online access to my Walmart Canada Mastercard acct so I could pay my bill. Reqd 3 calls to agents, 4 authentication codes, and umpteen login attempts. All b/c the phone they had on file no longer exists. Their online system is just awful.

Even someone as fashion-challenged as me can tell this isn’t a great look, Ryan Clark. Maybe he’s shooting for a guest spot in a sci-fi series.

Newbie question: how do I eliminate that GD up arrow icon that obscures the bottom of my feed on the desktop version? Who thought putting it there was a good idea? Searched, cannot find the solution.

Re-exploring this place and finally found some familiar names for good or ill, so hi there! Apparently one of my 4 "how do you use this place?" posts triggered someone to block me already so that's nice. But it needs more cat pics, so here's Miss Lucy to say hello. #HRM

Why does this app appear on an iPad like you are looking through a mail slot? Is there a fix I’m missing?

Unpopular opinion: the last season of Ted Lasso was a real mess. And a big miss.

Keith Hernandez forgot his logo ed shirt in his hotel room so one of the booth staff made him this emergency version to wear until the proper one could be retrieved. Looks like a SCTV scene. I find this funnier than I should.

I’m here but can’t find many familiar friends. Where are the Hali-folks?
