The only thing they care about is money.

But that would require paying them a fair wage, and Epic Games is a small indie company đź’€

Reminds me of that one Onion headline about mass shootings but in this case its, "We don't know how this keeps happening, says studio where this regularly happens."

I'd say consistency is better than arbitrary numbers. A short run is better than no run. For building "good" habits, reinforcing the habit and not putting a set goal on what you need to achieve to "meet" the goal is a better outlook. (read Atomic Habits!)

Definitely recommend it. But I also love the way French sounds. Definitely adds the immersion.

I'm using French VO but the subtitles really need darker outlines behind them. That 80% opacity business is just bad on so many levels. You can't slightly blur something with super bright white text and call that readable. Probably an option to change it.

I urge you to at least look into Media Addicts Anonymous. Or bare minimum using something like Minimalist Launcher app so that your phone's icons and notifications don't control every idle moment. Media is designed to be addictive. It affects people of all age groups, demographics, lifestyles...

Wasn't until I was 35 years old that I realized I was letting addiction to media, alcohol, edibles, and various other lesser addictions completely control my life. I was not thriving, I was just scraping by trying to fill the void.

I went to so many events and video game tournaments and bars in my 20s where as soon as I'd get there, I would want to leave. Not because I'm an introvert. Because I was telling myself going there would make me happy, or taking this job would make my dad proud of me, or dating would make me happy

We have an abundance of fake “antisemitism” BS being used as excuses to physically harm and take away rights from moral ppl and openly clear Islamophobia. All thanks to the democrat party that chose genocide over defeating trump

I feel the same way about most puzzle games. I never got close to finishing The Witness, Antichamber, etc. but I admire those games and hope to see more of them in the future.

It's so painful when someone asks for directions, I give them, and then as they walk off I realize I gave bad directions (saying to go north when they should have gone south, etc.)
