For what? They're also pro-austerity, xenophobic and selling out minorities.

Billie, Unlike Ncuti and Jodie, wasn’t credited as The Doctor in the credits.
comment in response to post
I’m not sure Billie is 16, she wasn’t credited as the Doctor in the credits.

I was about to ask the same thing.

It does seem a bit predictable to me, though I’ve only seen 3. A bunch of people escape dying thanks to an unexplained vision only to all die because Death is an invisible arsehole who works in mysterious and sadistic ways.

Gained? Looks to me that in the Coalition the Conservatives took all the credit for what worked and the Lib Dems got blamed for most of what didn't.

But....what if it really is all just taxpayer funded special effects!?
comment in response to post
That’s a little harsh as they don’t (usually) persecute minorities. But their self sabotaging rage makes it impossible for them to accomplish anything useful.

Making loads of babies doesn't mean you're qualified to actually raise them well.

Piers Morgan?

Ah the old racist undertones whenever these guys middle name Obama.

You're not wrong, but most of the British press seems more supportive of the terfs, or at least unwilling to look like they're criticising Rowling.
comment in response to post
I try not to.
comment in response to post
Yes, but for example I remember when Rowling was starting to express transphobic views. And I saw a lot of LGBT people trying to appeal to her in good faith, she ignored all of them. I agree that it's unhelpful, it's just I can understand why they're frustrated.
comment in response to post
Sure, but in their case a lot of it is born from frustration as genuine attempts to engage in good faith are usually dismissed.

*straight white bigots)
comment in response to post
I'm straight too, but I know bigots (especially straight white bigots well enough to see that the Terfs and the so called "LGB Alliance" reek of being a divide and conquer tactic against both Women and the LGBT community, they won't stop at their stated goals, bigots never do.

Oh.........yay.....🙄

Is it really splaining if Paul really does know more about the topic than you?
comment in response to post
Yeah. I don’t think we need to get too mad at the actors, most probably don’t know how cruel Rowling now is. We just don’t watch them in this.
comment in response to post
I'd say just don't watch the remake.

I didn't realise that believing those vulnerable prisoners being most at threat from predatory prison staff was such an absurd idea.
comment in response to post
Ah, now we're at pretending to care about women in prisons. If you actually cared you'd be focusing more real threats like corrupt members of staff. But we both know that once Trans Women go to men's prisons you'll suddenly stop caring about these vulnerable women.
comment in response to post
Are you claiming all women are conservative bullies who punch down? Because I'm not.
comment in response to post
Yes, wealthy white women doing Farage and Trump's dirty work, how heroic.
comment in response to post
If you actually believe getting a GRC is that easy you're a fool. Besides, men don't need one, they can just go in. And even if you get what you want it'll change nothing. Predatory men could just pretend to be a trans man to go into women's spaces, and most would probably prefer that to a dress.
comment in response to post
When that associate is a powerful misogynistic far-right sex predator who represents a very real threat to women's rights compared to the imaginary threat posed by trans people: Yes. Most of these "Feminists" you're playing White Knight for seem to be Middle/Upper class, Conservative and White.
comment in response to post
A weak retort, agreeing with Hitler on minority rights is a very different thing to agreeing that we need to drink water.
comment in response to post
Have you ever considered that being aligned with Trump on a minority rights issue is a pretty big red flag?
comment in response to post
Goodbye.

Nice link Doc.

Your typing is weird. Are you even English?
comment in response to post
That’s pretty much my point. How do you think most women will feel if Trans Men are forced to use the Ladies?
comment in response to post
If you have the funding to install a third gender neutral toilet in every single toilet in the UK then go right ahead. Otherwise you have trans people in the loos either way. And I don’t think you thought this through seeing as it would mean forcing Trans Men to use the ladies.
comment in response to post
Victor, they’ve got people like Rowling actively trying to gradually phase out those protections and demonise them by whipping up cartoonish predatory caricatures.
comment in response to post
Having this kind of common ground with Donald Trump isn't a red flag?
