yes! when i first got into metal music i started off with some of the originals like BS. new music is great and has its own perks, but theres something about the older stuff that i really enjoy! i dnt really know a lot of modern metal bands/artists other than kim dracula tho. spotify algorithm sucks

black sabbath is soo good and the one im probably most familiar with from that first list. i like to play them at the end of football games or during half time when i man the booth during the radio station coverage! slipknot and static X are great choices too. ive seen both of them live and loved it

i think mudvayne is probably one of my favorites. i used to play bass, so a good bass player that gets to showcase their talents is always super important to me in a band. it’s hard to pick favorites outside of metal because i listen to a lot of different stuff depending on my mood. how about you?
