Generally a lot of fun rankings. The only thing I actively want to disagree with is Margaret, wallflower feels offensive for the pot stirring queen that she is.

Makoto is my least favourite of the protagonists I've played so interesting to see him in S+. Maruki is the best Persona character, so he's in the right spot, and his arc elevates the Akechi story to new heights, so also great. Though Kanji as anything below an A feels like a crime.

Hoping for one like the Pokemon Crystsl cart

Yup, form your own thoughts and then if it's your thing take to the internet afterwards and discover what others have to say on it too.

I'm hoping for a bird theme in the character design.

For me, I have a pretty clear feeling for when 1 more drink will be too much and stop entirely, so while I slow down and get a bit more stupid, I also become far more sociable and happy in that window.

Muse Dash was very heavily inspired by this series.

And if all else fails, Rikku's Mix is the single most broken ability in any Final Fantasy game. If you take a quick trip to get 2 Musks for a Mix (if you don't already have them) Sin stands no chance.

So that stuff is just the easy mode of it, 3 hasted party members and Armour Break sweep this boss quite easily. There is a trap people sometimes fall into with it, which is using Aeons for anything other than overdrives. They give Sin too many turns with normal attacks.
comment in response to post
You won't need to grind to do that fight within the turn limit, but it is a skill check on how well you understand the abilities you have access to. At the most basic, Haste up the party, Armour/Mental Break and spam Quick Hits/Double Casts. Alternatively, cheese it with Rikku.

Not an actual full interpretation of Tidus and Jecht's relationship.

The "just a joke bro" defense is a backpedal in case something controversial said was pointed out as controversial. This was actually just a silly little joke post that you're trying to overcomplicate or don't seem to understand in terms of loose comparisons? The text is just straight from the show.

So what's not to get about the image?

Summarized for the funny image: he had a messy relationship with his biological father
comment in response to post
You must be fun at parties. Funny comparisons don't have to be 1:1, it's just using another example of a messy relationship with a biological father vs the relationship with the current father figure.

If the thing to make people kick their addiction was just having a family baseline, we wouldn't have many addictions period. A combination of the importance of of Braska's journey, as well as causing a huge embarrassment for the man who took him in and accepted him was a sobering moment for Jecht.

Perfect. I love these 2 and their dynamic.

That's certainly a contributing factor. Though propaganda existing alone is not enough to change people's world views, there generally needs to be a reason for people to be susceptible to it. Something to exploit that separates them from similar groups who aren't falling into the trappings.

Such a good read. It always seems like people get up in arms assuming that wanting to talk about men's issues means you must not care about any other issue, and the same people are surprised when young men will turn away from them and towards the grifters who seem to be offering something positive.

I also never said anyone owes anyone anything. So hey, don't go projecting your own thoughts onto me, and maybe, just maybe, a discussion can be had.

Hey so, I'm a millennial, not one of the young men I'm observing this situation in. But hey do you think it is the gen z men this situation is observed in created the patriarchy? Are you just delusional and mad? 20 year old Joe Schmuck is just trying to live in this world like everyone else.

And the worst part is, as long as there is not something specific that the left wants from young men, they'll simply return to being villainised by the vocal left, and the high suicide rates will continue to be terrifying.

This was especially clear in the recent American election where a number of ads targeting male voters were outlandishly tone deaf. Suggesting men should vote for Kamala because otherwise women wouldn't sleep with them is all kinds of sexist and insulting to male intelligence.
comment in response to post
Good article. As a man who is definitely still very much on the left, I think a big factor is the left treats young men only as a group to be won over when they need them, rather than ever really listening to them or offering anything of value.

It's weird thinking back to a bunch of similar scenarios where they held some not so great opinions but still explained things in a way where I could form my own opinions.

It's interesting that when it was explained to me as a child (because I asked why a man was dressed like a woman), it was simply explained that some people are born one way but feel another way inside. And this explanation came from parents who would refer to trans people as "it".

Honestly, with the dog thing, you've just got to find your go to way of explaining mortality in a digestible way. I ended up on something close to FF7's returning to planet when you die.

Doesn't matter what age we're in, people with money will always find a favourite art goblin to support.

People used to always scoff at me having solo outings for movies, but really, nothing beats taking a leave day to see a big release during the quiet of normal work hours.
