To be clear, the whole notion of refs “letting them play” in the playoffs to me means we don’t apply the rules that we follow ALL FUCKING SEASON.
That irks me….more than a little bit.

I’m having flashbacks to 2011 where Bruins *cough* Marchand’s *cough* nonsense went the refs wouldn’t call anything. Was getting annoyed with how little was called in period 2&3 last game but glad Oil came out victorious.

I cringed at the sexist undertones of that comment and was surprised AOC went that route.

Also, why he’d be less bothered by IRA tax credit roll backs.

That seems suspiciously anecdotal for an economist. 😜
Here in Victoria we’ve got separate police forces for Saanich, Victoria, and Oak Bay (like Kerrisdale having its own police force), a lack of coordination on transit which I suppose isn’t an issue with translink, and a municipal nimby

Why not? I’m intrigued about the possibility of a Victoria/Saanich merge as recommended by a citizens assembly on the island. Why the strong reaction towards amalgamation over there?

If you have heavy duty blending plans then perhaps something with a glass blender with multi speed functions and a reliable motor is needed.

What do you want to do with it?
We ended up going with a vitamix as we wanted to start doing protein shakes for kids on adhd meds lowering appetite so the removable containers you can drink from really helped.

The negotiating the borders is a critical thought experiment, especially given that Indigenous treaties precede the creation of Alberta. Imagine AB votes to separate, but then AB fragments and Fort McMurray and area opts joins SK instead or remain.

It’s a tricky balance of bringing housing prices down without wiping out significant amounts of household equity people are relying on. Two separate, and somewhat balanced political constituencies with diametrically opposed interests is what makes this issue so difficult politically speaking.
