I remember a while back seeing a set of beautifully painted marines in what were apparently "trans" colour schemes baby blues purples and pinks. It didn't really occur to me I just found them really eyecatching but the meltdowns in the comments were unbelievable. Just let people enjoy their hobby

Also I find it amusing that the stans of the marines don't realise that the marines were the butt of the original joke rather than some aspirational role models. This is why, although I love the setting and painting the minis I always struggled to engage with the 40k community.
