Not yet confirmed by microbiological analysis, but I've seen a lot of this over the decades. Visual can deceive: What we thought was #sulfur-oxidizing #biofouling in Jordan was #nitrate-reducing by DNA analysis of samples hauled back to the USA in carryon. Also lots of "dark matter" (whatsit?)

It's been informative watching several breweries start up nearby in recent years, all of them weathering the pandemic. With the startup/ramp up costs, that's crazier than our forming a well drilling company in Tanzania 😜 But lifting a glass to that crazy 🍺
