It can work, but the right tones are important.

Until the last ~30 years, it was something boys had. There was a separate diagnosis of Asperger’s. Many misdiagnosed as bipolar, put in weird “we don’t know what to do with you” “gifted” programs.

Sincerity is kind of complicated when it comes to his statements. He double-talks. You have to be extremely familiar with his rhetoric to attempt to figure out level of sincerity and which parts are sincere.
He will always attempt to cover his ass. Never admit wrongdoing or fault & never apologize.
