Opinionated, tired, and generally happy UK bod. I have a nasty habit of only getting involved in subjects that annoy me, so everyone assumes I'm a massive grump. Likes novel (usually indie) video games, films, books, an occasional comic and ALL KNOWLEDGE

No one gets all the jokes. Enjoy them anyway, there's so much in there it's no big loss if you miss chunks of it.

Now, now, you would have to split it into bite-sized portions that may or may not be linked to prior portions, and may be hallucinating at any given time. But hey, if it doesn't have to be coherent or anything, I have a Lorum Ipsum generator here that is much easier on the planet!

Stupid economics that one. As long as gas and electric prices stay tethered it's not going to change. My dark fantasy for this winter is the power companies try the cash grab again and they get the tariffs brutally decoupled as punishment.

And I don't just mean for video games! The streaming world is rapidly devolving into an absolute shit-show again, all because at this point capitalism is so far past the ideals of providing the best product that media companies actively seek to ruin their own products. Looking at you WB.

In my mind production & distribution should be required to be decoupled. Even Valve Software should be split from Steam. In Valve's defense they did offer games on Origin for a while, but then mandated Steam. Despite their whining, it's Epic doing the purchased exclusive crap. Get on with UT2024.
