Like… do I have contempt for the fascists among us? Of course I do! Do I want to crush their movement? More than anything! But will I subsidize individuals with compassion if that’s what it takes to care for all? Without blinking. I don’t aspire to an “efficient” system that leaves anyone behind.

I also welcome in immigrants and migrants who may not be virtuous paragons of producing value for corporations, but might just be regular stupid fuck-ups who make mistakes like the rest of us, and I want them to have full access to a rich and abundant social safety net with no questions asked.

Elon is fundamentally evil on a scale of the worst dictators in history. Unimaginable wealth and he's spending his time perpetuating cruelty while enabling the deaths of millions. He's an existential threat to everyone on this planet.

They also equate DEI as unqualified, which is another dangerous element. You have people on the left referring to unqualified white men as "the real DEI hires" and it just plays into their narrative
