If not free, you could get one at McDonald's.

Level 3? Is that a "stern letter" stage?

Oh what a beautiful tuxedo!

My sincere condolences.

A proud SEIU member here. SEIU membership gives you decent healthcare and a pension. No wonder Trump hates unions.

I have the standard DVD Warner, which seems complete (90 minutes), but I'll check. Although there's decent stop-motion, there's some goofs. During the live action effect shot where the monster topples the ferry boat, the board the monster's neck is attached to very obviously pops up above the water.

Gene Evans stated with a chuckle it's the only movie he's remembered for or asked about. There's a great conversation on the search vessel: "Have you ever been in the jungle, and there's something lurking just beyond the fire..." Sadly, in low rent copies or streaming, this is sometimes edited out.

Yes indeed. In NYC, and I'm sure elsewhere, they pick a "random" person and attack & arrest them. During Occupy, the profile was a fellow with a backpack & beard! Sometimes these were not participants, just people passing through. This was to instill fear in the crowd.

Almost as bad are the very-serious moderates and their lectures.

Ah! One of the short stories in "The Bloody Chamber" by Angela Carter. This seminal work is a dissection (vivisection?) of fairy tales and folk tales. A must read. In a collection of stories that tread in dark fiction, her retelling of Puss in Boots is quite humorous.

Yeah, let's torture them some more before we eat them. Grrr.

Yup. Amazing how that works. The stock market is booming, and the rich profit the most. The stock market crashes, and the middle and lower classes watch their 401ks and safety nets evaporate. QED

Yeah, the economy is tanking and trad Dems just can't seem to hang it on Republicans. If Dems suddenly learned to turn lead to gold, they'd fuck it up. The DNC is a case study in bad marketing. There's a crop of young ones just chomping at the bit, but the ossified dinosaurs prefer to punch hippies.

As much as I occasionally enjoyed MST3K, I feel they had some misfires (Revenge of the Creature). Although I found their treatment of "Girl in the Gold Boots" hysterical, the director of the film Ted Mikels felt otherwise. He was very proud of the film and angry how it was mocked.

This is a surprisingly good film. Glen Langan's performance is convincing, considering the over the top material. I was impressed by the intense scene where he is burned by the atomic blast test.

Several years ago I read that she was furious that the MST3K gang did their treatment to this film. But I dont know the truth of this.

Sorry about your dearly loved kitty. We also have Sam drinking special hydro packs (liver flavored), which seems to be helping.

Cliché, but it strikes me that so many of these guys have not "found themselves". Not only that, they have an online support system to actually discourage that.

I know the pain of having cats with special dietary needs. Our tuxedo's kidneys are near their end stage, but the script dietary food really seems to be extending his comfortable life. Our calico has irritable bowl, so again a special diet. If we deviate, there's trouble.

Another one for my list. I'm always up for folk horror. I'll try to catch it tonight.

Sums up the Republican platform rather well. It always amazes me how good the other side is in messaging.

Added. Just watched "The Cat Creature", a '73 TV movie. A Bloch teleplay, staring David Hedison.

Great movie, much better than the subsequent remake. Sad that the author turned later on in life.

Peter was a bit wasted in this. He should have been more utilized.

I have to give this another try, judging from the recommendations here!. I've seen the 1937 film "Dr. Syn".
