any time i hear the term ā€œopticsā€ being thrown around i instantly assume the person using it is white. people think and say things that donā€™t always match up with what (concessionist) principles you might want them to espouse

this is pretty; i quite enjoy it. thank you for what you do

It doesn't matter who starts the armed conflict. If you think organized groups of people warring with each other is more probable than political solutions to medicine, housing, education, and workers' rights coming out of the US government, then you think violence is likely to precede the change.

yeah, thatā€™s a fair and useful way to describe the situation essentially as it happened. thank you for that interpretation (genuinely!)

i recommend reading terry coxā€™s work ā€œfrom perestroika to privatisationā€ (1996) and anders Ć„slundā€™s ā€œgorbachevā€™s struggle for reformā€ (1991) for a picture of the time. neither are communists, if youā€™re concerned about bias (Ć„slund was strongly in favour of the destruction of the USSR, in fact)

quit crying about whichever group of white settlers (i.e., whether šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ, šŸ³ļøā€āš§ļø, or petite-riche wine moms, or NGO anarchists, or whatever) are gonna be treated like the rest of us always have: like shit

well i canā€™t exactly type an essay on the history of economic development of the USSR in 300 characters can i?

the USSR collapsed because of a positive feedback loop spurred on by economic underperformance following market reforms which contradicted the basis of the planned economy. the U.S. doesnā€™t see any sort of feedback loops besides maybe finance and its recurrent and growing crises

Maybe we should start a "talking points for jury nullifiers" thread?

šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø couldnā€™t tell ya. fight back news however tries to draw only a tenuous connection between itself and FRSO thoughā€¦ probably so FRSO can point to that clause in the ā€˜aboutā€™ section of the news page and distance themselves as desired (read: opportunism)

idk how to break this to you lady ā€œamericaā€ was only EVER a lie except to white people like you. it could not have ever BEEN anything but a lie for anyone else BUT people like you. your fawning and fantasia for ā€˜another timeā€™ ignores that your ā€˜americaā€™ always came at othersā€™ expense. death to šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

this playlist is extremely eclectic and i think you should trim it down substantially. if you want something to share in the meantime: youtube.com/@prolekult?s... youtube.com/@socialismfo... youtube.com/@besdmarx?si...
