Documenting when he tells the truth would easily fit into the 300 character limit of a single BlueSky comment, with room to spare for the credits and sources.

I never did see the old one before (other than driving by the station) so I can’t compare. It was nice and fun. Get reservations in advanced. We were fine with reserving two weeks prior… but it was a weekday. Go early in the day as well. We both know how the weather can change later in the day there

This was my almost exact view from my living room window for 10 years. I climbed that peak many times with a backpack. Last September was my wife’s first visit, and the first time I (we) took the train to the top.
Beautifully photographed, Sherri! Love your take on it!

Thank you! I’ve never shot Efke, but I’ve heard good things from people that have. Have fun!

Thank you! And thanks for the share as well!

Neither was I. It’s a bit different compared to what I’m used to. I did learn from a friend that sharing content gets you noticed a little more… so that’s a start.

I lived out in Colorado Springs for 10 years… never got to this side of the state as much as I should have. Cool shot, Frank! I like how the person (you?) puts perspective and scale to the image.

The Rollei infrared has a narrow bandwidth. While using an 850nm filter is my usual choice for B&W infrared film, the Rollei needs to be shot with a 720nm filter. It is a fun film, with a nice latitude. You can adjust anywhere from 5 to 9 stops (meter without the filter, then put it on to shoot).

Thank you, Luis! If it’s not obvious, this is infrared shot at 850nm.

I’m not a Fuji fan. Too many mediocre color rolls in the 80’s & 90’s, and never tried their B&W. For B&W I like Ilford Delta & HP5, Kodak Tri-x, and Rollei Infrared.

Decades? No kidding? I got 1 year out of the Ilfosol-3 then I noticed it getting weak. Tightly sealed, squeezed the air out, stored in a cool dark place.

Although I’ve been shooting for decades, I only started developing a few years ago. I still depend heavily on that chart. I haven’t wandered far from the times/temp/dilutions yet. And I have learned how to compensate time on those hot days when the chemical temp is 74 instead of 68. Thanks, Bill!

This makes me want to try it. I’m getting frustrated with the lack of contrast I’m seeing with the Ilfosol-3. I know it’s not my exposure settings (been shooting since 1975) and my color developing in c-41 has nice contrast. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice double exposure, Bill!
What is your opinion on Rodinal? I’ve only used Ilford Ilfosol-3 for my B&W so far. I like it, but I’ve read how it’s harsh compared to Rodinal.

That’s one of the reasons I love this filter. Pink coral, or a quick movement of the sliders and you have nice yellows instead. Thanks, Wolfgang!
