It would be in the following tax year. Miscarriage or abortion, otherwise. Otherwise the tax cheaters would be suffering yearly miscarriages to get their tax refunds.

I'm not looking for a fight. I'm just noticing that the Amish kids were singled out. The story wouldn't have been told if another group of kids were laughing at it.

Blue Skies is such a friendly, beautiful place built by Democrats.

George doesn't remember how many gay men died from poorly studied AIDS drugs. We won't go back because we never left, George.

Americans cannot even defend their own freedom. COVID lockdowns, masks, and jabs proved that.

Canada shouldn't be arresting journalists who report on Hamas supporters terrorizing Jews.

More kind thoughts on Blue Skies.

Here's Jake on Blue Sky, modeling kindness: "I'm surprised at all of everyone's lack of caring that Chuck Woolery died last night . You're right fuck him he was a nasty piece of work over at Leon's house"

Fauci killed a lot of gay men with AIDS drugs, including my old boss. Fauci also experimented on black foster kids with AIDS drugs and killed many of them. This is not a right/left fight. Big Pharma is one of the most prolific killers in the world.

Great idea. But she has to pay back with interest if she aborts.

Didn't I see you storming the Capitol on J6?

More libel.

This is hateful post, Jake from State Farm. And I just read another one of your posts about Blue Skies being free from hate. I guess you prefer that the people you slap just take it, and if they defend themselves, you see hate. You're a bully. And your name sounds so cheerful.

Every other post I see makes snide references to X and conservatives. I think it will take a while before the vitriol subsides completely. What are your areas of interest? I looked for Health, but it wasn't available. Maybe eventually?

As a member of the military, Jennie probably cannot criticize the Canadian civilian government, and she has no business criticizing the incoming administration of a foreign government.

How kind and cheerful you are, Nurse Ratched.

I love reading. But many of the latest acquisitions are dull, at least in fiction. Historical romances are some of the most ridiculous, with characters' thoughts/actions more suited to 2024. Modern romances don't offer Alpha males except vampires/werewolves and those are disappearing fast.

Virtually all libraries are following the same policies now. "Best practices" have permeated our society in almost every area which means control is largely out of local hands. Everything is top down.
comment in response to post
It is indeed sad how the intellectual status of the public library has plummeted. Oh well.

You are in the bucket with the lobotomists.

It sounds like you are making fun of a group of Amish kids for looking at anatomy books. Would you have told the story if Muslim kids had been involved?

Librarians could have a book lover and lover of language read your books before jettisoning them. Then keep the really good ones. And stop buying some of the new junk. Some of them have sentences and ideas so lame that it's criminal to use limited funds to buy them.

Two separate topics: in the last decades, textbooks update editions at dizzying speed only for profit. Basic text remains. (Tech books excluded). Older specialty books are fascinating. Written to inform without euphemism or catch phrases, they are better educational tools for the autodidactic.

Your insular thinking stuns the open mind.

Libraries buy new material, much of which is at a low reading level. The plot may be there but the language is blah.
comment in response to post
Home libraries are now a necessity. Public libraries cannot be relied if you like to reread a good book.

So the lowest common denominator of readers dictates the quality of the books...In the past I would discover a fabulous author I had never read. That no longer happens.

Government is out of control. Amish following old ways hounded by all-powerful bureaucrats. Religious expression censored. Vocal parents arrested. Christians talking to women about to abort their babies imprisoned for years. Dawn raids with guns over politics or just hapless citizens.

Male vs female is an ancient concept not requiring a biology degree to grasp. Primitive man would ridicule your arrogance.

Lawfare has given the 3rd branch of government too much power.

Women resisting the (trans) patriarchy are finally beginning to understand this. We have to stand up. Men cannot, or will not, stand up for us.

I made a vow to instantly stop reading or viewing anything AI generated or written using a template. Does it help my sense of disconnectedness? Yes, if only because I feel part of the battle for the soul of humanity. (A teeny, miniscule part!)

Exactly the kind of thinking that will kill libraries.

Well it's silly to think all boys are good at math and all girls are bad. Very few people think that, but the fact so many people are not math literate doesn't help the stereotype.

When 18th century doctors learned that washing their hands before delivering a baby would massively increase maternal survivor rates, they treated the messenger like he was RFK in 2024.

Just not in the bathroom! Women -- and men -- deserve the privacy and dignity of their own spaces. Men do not belong in women's spaces, even gentle, law-abiding men. And ZERO decent men break this long-standing separation of the sexes.
