Besides, she has analysed if urban parks are merely a subset of the assemblages of the surrounding natural areas. Spoiler: they are not! Nestednees contribution to beta diversity is minor compared to the pure turnover component.

She has done an outstanding job classifying near 1k specimens into 165 bee species from urban parks and semi-natural areas in Viladecans (a small town near Barcelona). That means about 15% of the total bee species richness described for the whole Iberian Peninsula!
