Last Thursday, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol arrested 42-year-old Washington State resident Max Londonio at the SeaTac Airport as he was returning from a vacation with his family in the Philippines. Londonio is the second Filipino-American permanent resident to be detained at SeaTac since February.

About 5-6 plain-clothed ICE agents were seen outside immigration courtrooms at Seattle’s Federal Building today. Several DHS vehicles were also spotted nearby. In response, dozens of community members rallied outside. This comes after 4 migrants were arrested here yesterday.

In addition to the raid in Kent, ICE also arrested four people outside the immigration court in downtown Seattle today after their cases were dismissed for expedited removal — the first time this is happening under this administration. It is possible ICE will be there tomorrow too.

Several community members are reporting on social media that a warehouse in Kent, WA was just raided by ICE today. According to Jaime Méndez News, approximately 9 men and 7 women were handcuffed, detained and transferred onto a bus at Eagle Beverages, a local drink manufacturer.

Organizers reported that one person was arrested for protesting outside the convention center, while 3 were pepper sprayed by a security guard. Activists were also violently ejected from the convention center and several sustained injuries due to police and security conduct.
