I don't know how to break it to you that that is indeed the way criminal procedure works. The cops breaking the rules and flouting the constitution counts for way less than you'd think and is in no way a slam dunk for the defense usually.

right but there’s a metric ton of modern american media that’s not quippy if you go past mass market shit. Kelly Reichardt, Sofia Coppola, RaMell Ross, Todd Haynes, hell, even if you go up to like Scorsese or Barry Jenkins, they’re still making very earnest art
