Really wish that wasn’t the case. This is the perfect time for a hard re-set of offensive personnel. Outside of OT and JSN, I’m not sure why we seem so hesitant to cut or trade anyone else. Macdonald is in year 2 with an ascending defense. Let’s play the long game and think Super Bowl. Not 10 wins.

I agree Warren won’t be there. If he is, I’d take him in a heartbeat because I think it’s combination of talent and fit as a well-rounded player.

Great analysis Brian, in coming at the position group from all angles. I see some possible upside in drafting an edge, but I would rather spend draft capital on other spots this year. IOL(!), WR, LB, QB, TE

I have a hard time getting too worked up over Fraley. According to reports- he wasn’t even considered for the OC spot for Detroit after Johnson left. He’s not good enough to be a finalist for his own team, but we are supposed to believe he spurned us? I want JS to correct the record. I don’t buy it.

Can I be greedy and hope that we get a Fraley OC/Udinski Passing game coordinator combo? Minnesota would need to let Udinski walk but he is buried there. Honestly I’d take Udinski as OC but seems unlikely to me.

Disagree. We are suddenly thin at WR. JSN is great. We know DK’s strengths but his weaknesses affect your game-planning. Lockett will be cut. Bobo is not a multi-dimensional player…. A WR that can run routes with speed is a fairly big need. Really wanted us to draft Jalen Mcmilland last year.

Agreed- that 2023 SF draft looks terrible. Arizona’s are meh. I like Seattle’s but unfortunately the Rams look good too.
