but that’s the thing though? Kennels are an innately human creation, and while the design logic of Zootopia is “what if human history but we never evolved to that stage” it stands to reason kennels wouldn’t exist in that context

It’s honestly something I’ve been reckoning with since I finally was able to move out. Learning to unlearn these trained behaviors reinforced by the circumstances that surrounded you- it’s natural to mourn what could have been, but there’s still a lot of future left to live.

(I’m doing okay! Just have a weird relationship with my birthday and the natural flow of time juxtaposed against my current IRL situation. Needed to get some of it out on paper in some fashion.)
