I have been trying to explain this to many of my peers (I’m in my 60’s).
The blowback I get is astounding. I work with mostly GenZs and I ask them about their thoughts on the political system. They are apathetic.

As a fellow retail worker of a boycotted company feeling the same cuts, I’ve given this a lot of thought. I feel that I HAVE to make a stand. If I don’t do it now by having my hours cut, I will feel it later with lower wages and possibly no job at all. I’m currently working 2 jobs to make ends meet

I’m glad to hear that you are running! I don’t know where you live, but death threats are a serious issue where you live?!?! I’ve lived in a deep blue state my entire life, so I always have to remind myself that there is a whole different world out there.
