Got a student and every time I see him in the hallways and say “hey bud, it’s great to see you” he goes “yeah, it is” and that’s the energy I want to move through life with.

Great thing about libraries: when I get a book recommendation I immediately put it on hold. Not only does the delayed acquisition help me not get overwhelmed by too many books, but by the time I get the book I can’t remember who recommended it to me and figuring it out is like a fun little puzzle!

Not surprised. Haven’t trusted her since she made fun of the “other woman” for not being able to shoot whiskey which is objectively the worst way to drink whiskey.

Resolution this year is use longer phrases on my to do list for more arduous tasks. Like instead of “figure out lunches” say “spend 3 hours meal prepping and freezing all your lunches for the next 3 weeks.”

Going through my emo phase about 17 years later than I should have…but I can now tell the difference between panic at the disco and fall out boy.

Primary difference between 25 and 35. When you’re 25 and you sing along to a pop song about someone not treating you right, you’re all “yeah, fuck my ex!” But the same song at 35 you’re all “yeah, fuck my boss!”

If we talked about other infrastructure the way the right talks about the education system: this road is full of potholes and poorly maintained. Let’s tear up the roads!
