Morning snuggles.

Trump’s property development program on Palestinian lands has apparently already begun…

As a heterosexual man I don’t have much experience with obtaining the morning after pill. I’m normally a bit too hungover on the day after my birthday to want to go out, and in the U.K. the shops are shut on December 26th so it’s rather a moot point.

Grocery shopping done today. Eggs were over 30% more expensive than last time.

Boxing Day in the U.S. isn’t really a thing. Took the dog for a walk to buy ingredients for dinner in the morning, called mom and then worked in the afternoon. Now resting under a blanket with gin, a book about pagan Britain and medieval church music on in the background. Bliss.

In a Tudor frame of mind and decided it was time to read this volume that I bought three years ago. Leo thinks that it’s about time too.

So now my wife is getting annoyed me because I do not have the perfect gift idea for…her boss. Who I have never met.

Am I the only one who thinks that Anne of Cleves would have made a splendid wife? She apparently was full of grace, devout, intelligent, cultured and serious minded. Sounds perfect.

My uncle’s birthday falls on December 25th. I’ve always wondered whether he gets to have sex twice on Christmas Day or whether it’s once for the whole year.
