I can't believe @spacelawshitpost would be posting shit on bluesky dot come

It's also a bad faith argument when they're actively revoking visas and deporting people who did come here the legal way.

As a DQ customer I do not like the flippy thing. It gives me zero benefit and only seems to add extra trouble to the already busy DQ workers. It feels gross in ways that are hard to put into words.

It's so nice that Martinez gave up a bunt out just to bring Rodriguez up with 2 outs.

Shut up, nerd.

Celtics just traded Porzingis for Georges Niang. Might as well run up that white flag right now.

Okay, but Ohio has a Dolly Parton license plate.

The DNC fights to stifle actual progressive candidates so much harder than Republicans. It's not everyone in the Democratic party, but most the leadership and the machine as a whole. They don't want change.
comment in response to
post
The problem is the people in leadership benefit from it all - the forever wars, the corruption, the income inequality, having a lower class of citizens to blame.
Democratic leadership doesn't want to actually fix the system, just give an appearance they're trying.

Dang. Sounds like baby knows what they're doing. I'm ready to vote Baby 2028.

Let's just ask the next kid that shoots up a school. We'll probably only have to wait a week or two.

Just casually knocking things off the countertop together with my cat and then yelling at him for it.

Apparently that Brian guy has a history of being annoying because I already have him blocked for something else.

Agreed. Being passionate about sports isn't fundamentally different from being passionate about superheros or scifi or video games or any other stereotypical nerd hobby. It also has a huge overlap with math and science.

I found her on the side of the road. When she acts like a jerk I like to remind her that she's litter.

This birthday snuck up on me. I just realized I'm going to be 44 in two days.

I've seen a lot of people on here lately wanting to fight and argue and intentionally hurt and annoy people they mostly agree with. Like, I get the world sucks and everybody is angry, but what's the goal here?
comment in response to

I think you should hurt Nazis also. This guy makes it sound like he wants to torture them and enjoy it, and that's a huge red flag, which brings us back to the original post.
There's something wrong with people who would rather hurt bad people more than stop them from hurting good people.

Yeah, Browns left Cleveland and won a Super Bowl pretty much immediately. They came back and have been embarrassing ever since. There's no mixed feelings.

I liked how the Yankees decided to roll out with the tattered carcass of Carlos Carrasco this spring instead of giving Bauer a call. Dude is trash and if I never see him in the US again it'll be too soon.

Just imagine if we actually used that kind of money to fund things that were good for us

Figure each B-2 costs well over $2 billion in development and production and they've only been used like half a dozen times since they were first built 35 years ago, I'd say that visitor center was a bit more expensive than that.
comment in response to
post
Surely that's a necessary thing we should be spending money on and I'm positive it will also come in on time and under budget.
comment in response to

I'm not going to fault people for refusing to give money to a party that very clearly said they don't support their interests.

Do you think he specifically asked for them to use the B-2 because he thought they looked cool back in the 90s?

I'm curious how genX would learn about it in history class, since they were alive when it happened and then got sent to Desert Storm in response to it.

Me: let's put lots of plants and objects in here so the shrimp can feel safe and hide
Me later: 😑
I've had pretty good luck using a turkey baster to vacuum them up. Thankfully I don't need to worry about getting *all* of them out. I just want to get a second colony going in a different tank.

I'm planning on moving some cherry shrimp out of my 20 gallon tank that's 85% weeds right now into a different tank and I'm not looking forward to it.

So you get enjoyment out of intentionally bothering people around you? You like to walk into a room where people are enjoying themselves and just take a shit on the carpet just so other people feel uncomfortable?
That sounds like a miserable life, my dude. I hope you get better some day.

I had mint growing in a bed on one side of the paved driveway and in a couple years had it springing up almost 30 feet away on the other side.

Yeah! I got it mostly built up and moved everybody in already. I tried to get some pictures but everything through the glass was getting awful reflections.
I still want to put some more rocks/sand in the water part and some more plants in the dirt part, but I really like how it came together.

Sounds like nice little group, although dwarf gourami will absolutely eat smaller shrimp. Amano shrimp or bamboo shrimp would probably be okay, but neocaridina (like the cherry or blue shrimp) would get eaten up.

Blocking is great on here. Even if you don't follow someone you never have to worry about them being quoted or reposted or showing up randomly in someone's replies. They just disappear forever. I highly encourage blocking for any reason at all.
