Honestly, I feel ya. I tried to get into MH Worlds and couldn’t. I then tried again with MH Rise and found that I was only having a good time when playing with friends. I couldn’t stand the grind, and the amount of knowledge you have to know to really get into it.

From a narrative perspective, I don’t like the hover boots because it makes clank feel meaningless. In the OG games, when Ratchet was without Clank you felt it because half your moveset is gone. At least in ACiT clank added some extra utility for Ratchet to use even if they are never required.

The comedy is so “LOL Random” which isn’t really the style I associate with Ratchet and Clank which is more witty. Then again, the comedy in Rift Apart was also not to my liking so maybe this is just the direction the series is heading 🤷♂️

I think this was made as a pilot to a potential R&C TV show that didn’t get picked up so the studio sold it to whatever streaming service that would take it to recoup costs. If that was indeed the case then TBH, I’m glad it didn’t take off. Don’t get me wrong, I want a R&C show but this isn’t it.
