I know you are really concerned with companies taking advantage of citizens, and I appreciate this, but you know he's not going to do this -- and that he's in the middle of destroying our country, so maybe we have bigger eggs to fry.

I got one of those last month. :( I am very nearsighted on one side and yeah. The best part is that the other one apparently often happens within a year. (I can barely look stuff up because screens bother me and eye stuff gives me ick.) Hope you're seeing better soon.

My elementary school had computer classes (Apple) but in high school, it was just MS-DOS and big floppy disks at home. And the only programmer I knew was a woman. How the turns table.

Also, note that your blocks on Bluesky are public and viewable through third parties, while mutes are not. I actually used a lookup of common blocks and that prompted me to block jessesingal. Next I'm going to look for the bedbug Bret guy.

The good thing I'm seeing is people posting little "what is wrong, some influencer said I could make a lot of money this way" notes, which means something is working (but not working upstream where people are making money off preying on the ill-informed and desperate).

That's so gross. I do think they might not be as successful as they hope; it seems like Am*zn is at least prepping to down-list AI books as they're flooded with them (and that's probably not a loved and profitable vertical). At least, I cross my fingers.
