Stupid mindless fun. It ended up being much better than I expected it to be, especially after seeing a lot of negative reviews.

An Ok hitman film with Christoph Waltz, but it's missing something.

It's a piece of art... not Van Gogh or Rembrandt... but maybe Bob Ross... or Bob Ross's second cousin Corky Ross.

Not a bad adaptation of the classic novel.

The Red Hulk twist would have been way better had it not been spoiled in the trailers.

This was a pretty fun film.

Clearly for younger kids, but the gags are clever enough that parents won't want to rip their hair out until about the 20th viewing.

If they really want to do the remake of John Carpenter's "The Fog" that we deserve, they should do this again but with the Muppets and call it Jim Henson's "The Frog".

This movie is pretty much as great as everyone says it is.

While I had a few issues with some of the decision-making and dialogue in this film, I ended up feeling like it was a pretty decent bottle movie and I can't get over Markie Mark playing a bald guy. It's freaky.

The Story of Grover Cleveland Alexander and how he helped the 1926 Cardinals take down Murderer's Row and win the team's first championship.

This gets extra points in my book because this is the movie that Red Dwarf took old clips from for their episode "Meltdown".

A pretty fun twist on the "A.I. is taking over" movie. I think this may be the first time that I watched one of these movies and was actually rooting against humanity.

Treat Williams vs. a giant tentacle monster that kind looks like the thing that comes out of Scropion's hand in Mortal Kombat had a baby with the Dune sandworm.

Shia LaBeouf is a troubled young individual. He's also in this movie about a kid sent to a youth camp for wayward kids.

A fantastic film that doesn't get enough praise in my humble opinion.

Watching this one for the late great Gene Hackman.

I think Tyler Perry did a pretty good job with this one, and not once did I see him dressed up as a God-fearing elderly woman (although Oprah is kind of starting to look like Madea a bit. I suppose it could have been Perry in an Oprah outfit).

If you don't know the subject matter going in, this movie is quite the trip and there are surprises around every corner. This may be my favorite International film this year (although I haven't seen I'm Still Here yet).

He was 95, so this isn't super shocking, but it does sting. Here's a list of some of my personal favorite Hackman performances.

If you have Ornithophobia (a fear of birds), this movie will not help with that as all of the birds in this movie, kind of suck.

How many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man? And how many cigarettes must Tim Chalamet smoke before he gets emphysema? Both answers are weirdly blowing in the wind.

I've been playing a lot of Red Dead Redemption Online lately, and it got me in the mood for a western.

MST3K Version: "Great, I'm going to have to change my name to the Creature from Edinburg Park Kiddie Pool."

My first viewing of Dawn of the Dead (2004) and I loved it. Also extra points for using Richard Cheese's version of "Down With the Sickenss" and Jim Carol Band's "People Who Died" in this.

I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed this.

This film gets bonus points for use of the word Quincunx which is a great word because it sounds like 5 cuss words said simultaneously.

I miss Robin Williams.

I think it's a technically good film but I feel like the length and slow pacing kind of took me out of it at times. I won't have issue with it winning best picture because this is the kind of film that is made for Oscar, but I feel like there are better nominees.

I know I'm pretty alone on this one but I like Godzilla '98 and I'll die on this hill!

Every true Star Wars fan should watch this at some point.

Best animated feature might be the toughest category at the Oscars this year. If it were up to me I'd give a a statue to this, Flow, and The Wild Robot.

Miles Teller is told not to interact with the person on the other side of the gorge... but then that person ends up being Anya Taylor-Joy, so he's pretty much doomed to fail from the start.

"School in Skakespeare's day and age was vastly different to our own. In fact it was far easier, because he didn't have to study Shakespeare." - Philomena Cunk

A little uneven at times, but I mostly found this pretty funny though I think your overall enjoyment will come down to how much you like the 2 lead actors.

A pretty fantastic documentary on Elton John showcasing a nice of overview of the career and life of a music icon.

"Over the course of 50 years, 894 people have hosted Saturday Night Live, and it amazes me that only two of them have committed murder." - John Mulaney

Although I spent way too much time thinking about how they got that large statue at the beginning into the auction house, Hellboy 2 was a fun time and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Not that he was ever going to be a big star, but I'd say that this film was a huge speedbump in Lorenzo Lamas' career trajectory.

I wasn't sure about the first person perspective of this at first, but I came around quickly and by the end, I realized that it was actually the film's greatest strength.

It's so weird to see actors such as Paul Rudd, John Leguizamo, and Jamie Kennedy quoting the dialog of Shakespeare. It's a weird movie, but somehow it works.

A pretty intense WW2 film from out of Norway.

A January release that's legitimately funny? Consider my mind blown. I laughed a lot.

Revisiting old Martin Short movies that I haven't seen in awhile because I have a newfound appreciation for him after Only Murders in the Building.

For a 17 minute stop-motion short, there's an awful lot of male genitalia in this movie. Be warned... just because it's animated, doesn't mean it's for kids.

A documentary about getting kids interested in music... what's not to love?

One of my favorite bands of all time.
