rats are fairly easy to take care of! they have personalities similar to dogs and are super friendly:) i’d say the only cons for me is they can be fairly expensive and they’ve destroyed a few things like chargers and blankets but that’s on me for leaving those things out😅 and i just love rodents!

i had them up in my room for a while. one day i repainted my room and my sister asked if she could have them so i let her have them. eventually she took them down and left them under her bed and our cats tore them up😪
