daylight savings rightfully has so many haters and you can count me among them. I always think the hour change won’t be a big deal but it fucks me up so bad every time

I'm watching the Nova production on the Dali taking out the Scott Key bridge. There is talk of beefing up the bridge piers to fend off a collision. I wonder if it would make sense to build a shoal around the piers that wold ground ships before they even got to the piers.

The news is trying to cast the temp in DC as Real COLD by saying it's expected to be -5°C. I can hear some Canadian exclaiming "we could never be part of a country that thinks -5°C is TOO COLD!" 🤣 (To save some of us the trouble to ask Google, that's 23°F)

I made something exploratory based on frozen hash browns. After browning and flipping the large patty, I sprinkled broccoli and chopped pulled pork on top before adding a layer of cheddar and habanero cheddar. When the cheese was melted I browned it under a broiler. It was great (and leftover to!)
