In the spring of 2008, I feared America was on the verge of war with Iran — and, believing that it’s good style to get to know people before you bomb them, I made “Rick Steves’ Iran,” a one-hour special that could (and would) only debut on PBS. Sadly, this special has become pertinent again today.

Good morning friends! If you’re thinking we excavated 2 new ponds just for the photo ops well… you wouldn’t be 100% wrong 😂. But they also serve other purposes. The animals enjoy having ponds in each prairie, they become self-sustaining ecosystems, & it’s important to retain water for dry summers.
