Can't find it at the moment, but somebody posted "every day the news is like 'today America banned wheelchair ramps because they aren't in the bible, and Finland made ice cream free'".

Yeah, that figures. I have a friend who seems to think Trudeau is hiding under the bed waiting to instantly-murder anyone who says 'MAID'. 😐

I'm convinced the stuff comes off my pan easier if I do the wash-and-scrape immediately, taking a blast of steam to the face every time. My pan's just stainless steel - is the temperature shock bad there, or are you talking about the ones with coatings?

Maybe a low-level risk of becoming peccable.

Alcohols have a smell and mercury doesn't, so it's possible you're gonna be okay.

Even a two-minute window would do it. 👍

That's exactly the kind of y-axis we put in our unit on "Misleading Graphs".

Not building nuclear weapons has been a nice idea, but I wonder if we're open to revisiting it.

I imagine that sets up a farming problem for this summer. Which he will blame on Newsom.

Glad you're trending up. Don't watch the news, it'll set you back days. ðŸĪŠ

This will break the news that I'm not young, but in ground school we learned it was Notice to AirMen. Call it that, and maybe they'll fix it faster. ðŸĪŠ

Yeah, when I see people saying we should start forging stronger ties with the EU my reaction is they're eight years behind.

Was that the closest we've had so far to a six-on-six brawl?

Should be how many really unhealthy smoothies you can make, plus how many 30ths of a pretty robust treehouse you could make...?

2028: You're in the hospital for some reason. All the robo-nurses are running Gemini software and have gleaming steel claws.

On the bio/psych side, a red-faced person might be worked up but they aren't really thinking about fighting. If they were their sympathetic nervous system would light up and they'd go pale. I assume no responsibility if you get tackled by a sunburned person while applying this information. :P

I make that mistake re: Ukraine all the time. The closest I can come to controlling it is consuming news about it so I do that, semi-obsessively.

They've already started - the argument (brace yourself) is that the burden of having to work with/carry DEI hires distracts and stresses the whites, dragging down their performance.

And when they find out that woman's alive and walking around, they'll switch into sending her death threats without missing a beat.

The people who get shot at lean not-white, but I assume if you grabbed a bunch of majors or colonels it'd be a different story...?

I acknowledge that the show might be great, but seriously, we all know what a lightsaber blade looks like and that isn't it.

Alberta still has some coal-capable plants, but in summer 2024 our last coal-only (one of the Genesee units) was refitted so it can also burn natural gas. So we could backslide, a bit, if we wanted to own the libs and waste money at the same time.

I'd caution against drawing too many conclusions from a win over the Charge right now. We're making scoring look so. F-ing. Hard. 😭

I kept the sheet low in the oven, and toasted the bread, and while I normally press the tuna this time I wrapped it in paper towel and really leaned on it. That combination worked.

I've been doing some reading and crunched some numbers, and if you score 8 or more goals, you're like 99% likely to win a hockey game. Try that! Trust me. <3 #sabermetrics

My simplest idea is just to put the cookie sheet lower in the oven, so the sheet gets hotter and evaporates that moisture out...?

I've been saying oxalic acid "huku" for a long time, and you don't see it very often but copper acetate is pretty clearly "cucheecoo".
