its working on 12+ year architecture and the "fix" is probably not worth the time they'd have to take the game down for to change. its just the way it is, you'd think after all this time people would just be used to it, it's just for a couple hours.

prtobably because there is an issue between lodestone and JP servers, but lodestone is ALL servers data, There's isn't a JP specific lodestone. So when maintenance happens on lodestone like that, all servers go down. pretty sure this has always been the case when lodestone is involved.
