look you can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs completely into the omelet making it inedible.

My concern is it's the NHL. If you aren't trading for a goalie in hopes you are going to catch the hot one in the playoffs then you probably don't need to do anything if you are making the playoff bc the playoffs are goalie play and pray.

Crazy timeline there - introduce a tariff that sucks, cost your party huge losses including Presidential election, tariff sucks so bad it starts a depression the other party can't (really won't) stop, become President

Why did I know old cinema? Because I watched TV ALL THE TIME (something no one does now) and because my Dad was super old. Also the Hays code, while terrible, helped here bc nearly every old classic could be aired anywhere at anytime.

Key phrase in his paragraph is "budding young cinephiles". Those types have even more access and opinions to mine than we did back in those days. We've lost some classic cultural touchstones but that's (1) just they way things are & (2) were more bc of cartoon references than us watching old movies

I know you and your type think it’s the most important thing but it can be hard to listen to you always obsess about views out of touch with everyday Americans Of course I’m talking about sportswriters and Jason Isbell albums

The problem is it's hard to make people believe the books when they are living at the office 24-7.

Soros is paying everyone to not spend money! If he backs out it'll be like "some people told me this was good. I didn't think so." or something along those lines

I mean think whatever you want but the man has never shown himself to be complicated. Why is he ok with the economy tanking? He's probably not! But he also probably thinks it isn't His staff said you need to say "Might get bad" he wrote "Might get bad, then again maybe it'll just get better!"

Yes but when the antenna goes up in the CF bleachers you better hope you are in range of the UHF broadcast

So the end result is making a bad deal with the O's that you plan to use whatever bully power you have to break down the line. Which sucks!
comment in response to post
Of course no Nats fan agrees with me, bc not having their own rights was silly, and I agree! But the problem wasn't the O's making the deal but MLB. They should have told the O's to screw themselves in the first place but didn't bc teams wanted to hold on to the idea of "broadcast rights areas"
