think that's true, but also what's going on is that same drive is just cargo cult - like narrowly focused in more obscure ways (what's the contrarian/niche angle no one is looking at why good thing may be bad?) meanwhile since republican malfeasance is obvious who cares

part that, part among the vast number of federal employees laid off (or family members of) already were qanon or adjacent so it's just a natural transition for them

as someone that is 38 2008-2025 do not feel the same at all. imo clear generational (lived) eras more like 2001-2008/2008-2015/2016-2019////2020-2021////2022-2024/2025-whatever fresh hell awaits
