is this really the world you want your children to live in, and your children’s children,

Poseidon, sorry Neptune really did a solid job there.

Jerks need to stop watching comics movies.

"Animation? I didn't watch Akira for the Animation. In fact, I wish it were live action. That'd be WAY better" If somebody says this to you, run.

Zohran: Imagine living in a city where you can afford your rent, your groceries and even a meal at a restaurant now and then without much stress Eric Adams: Imagine a platypus so powerful that it could destroy the city. We need more cops

I'm not sure this nickname will have the impact they think it will

Something unintentionally funny about E. Nelson Bridwell's comedy series Inferior Five: They're all meant to be the children of the "Freedom Brigade", which means Bridwell was accidentally parodying Infinity Inc. before Infinity Inc. even existed!

Making minor villains into big deals is more a DC thing than a Marvel one. In marvel It’s like a caste thing, if you were minor in the silver age you are minor forever

Props(?) to DC for ending two of their big events with a DANCE PARTY like it's a Dreamworks animated movie from the 2000s. Only thing missing is Smash Mouth and Eddie Murphy doing covers of "I'm a Believer".

I agree with everything here:

Since OMD, every single civilian in Spider-Man comics has become either a superhero or supervillain

the interactions between the supers and regular people are the only thing that matters and all the universe saving is to give us an excuse to see these interactions.

This is so true. When you build a solo series, you have to build something. Imagine a TV sitcom or drama series with only one ongoing character. Even those wandering-star series like THE INCREDIBLE HULK or THE FUGITIVE needed the pursuer characters, reporters or cops.

sometimes I feel like people who freak out about keeping science fiction and fantasy separate and distinct are like that little kid who doesn't want the peas and carrots to touch on their plate. It's all imaginative fiction, folks.

Stan Lee walked so that James Somerton could stream.

Highlight of Cronenberg dissing comic book movies (from 2013!): Him revealing he enjoyed CAPTAIN MARVEL in his youth. In other words, he's literally been fascinated with body transformations since he was a kid! comicbookmovie.com/batman/david...
