The vibes of Mass Effect 1 are absolutely immaculate, its clunkiness is one of the things I love most about it. It's a creature only part-way out of its cocoon, caught between what BioWare RPGs had been up to that point with glimmers of the Actions RPGs to come. Forever my fave!

Pathfinding my way through some of the more labyrinthine levels has literally become instinct for me. Friends and colleagues regard me with horror as I get through the containment facility in the mission 343 Guilty Spark without doubling back half-a-dozen times lol

I've replayed Mass Effect 1 around what must be some thirty times since 2007, which is a hell of a time-sink because I am compelled every time to do ALL the side quests. Outside of that, I'd be fascinated and terrified to know exactly how much of my life has been devoted to replaying Halo 1.

Ohh, that means a tremendous amount! I'll be moving to Seattle later this year so hopefully we'll bump into each other at some point.
Amazing work from you and the team on all the Veilguard merch by the way! That map blanket 😍 (and I totally caught a reference to you in one of the Fade letters lol)

Thank you so much, Zara! 😊 (I still have your wonderful Arbiter and Isabel illustrations on my shelf from when I first visited the office back in 2018 🥲)

Ahh, thank you so much Dani, I'm glad the Previously on Destiny site was helpful—wish I could've had the time to keep that site updated beyond The Witch Queen!

I actually replayed Control last xmas (it's a game I'm very familiar with as it was one of the very first games I did QA on lol), so this is a bit out-of-order. American Nightmare next, then Alan Wake 2, but I am definitely curious to try out Quantum Break as well.

Something about FFXIII just feels so cosy to me. The second the main menu music starts playing, I am READY for another full playthrough 🥲

STAR TRUCKER (2024)
I've not had an awful lot of time to play this yet, but "Euro Truck Simulator in space" is just too good of a concept not to get a mention here. I am still trying to master the art of docking with stations.

HELLDIVERS 2 (2024)
I need to jump into the new update, my schedule has taken me away from this game over the last few months, but it's easily the best multiplayer title I've played this year. So happy to see the level of success it's had—always have time for cooperative PvE games like this!

GOLF CLUB WASTELAND (2021)
A simple 2D golf game with stunning artwork and some really fantastic satirical narrative flavor. A fun puzzle platformer in a bleak world ruined by ecological disaster.
