Jupiter, my great horned beetle, had his wings destroyed by cannon fire in the last great bug war. Now, with only legs to scuttle on - more than I have - it takes twice as long to get to the market each week. But it's worth the trip to see him socialise with the other wounded and gobble his snacks.

Jonathan Joss (Comanche, White Mountain Apache) did not simply die from a gunshot. He was murdered in a homophobic, racist hate crime by his former neighbors. He died saving his partners life. Honor his legacy-- both queerness and Indigeneity are inextricable to why he was targeted.

I strongly urge everybody to read this. I helped my partner through their tribunal, and while I think we were lucky enough to have an understanding panel, there were times they were clearing trying to trip us up. They got their PIP after far more pleading than they ever should have had to do
