I know this is just the grumpy Linux user talking, but for the love of god, everyone. Stop giving out information that you absolutely do not have to. Don't do those ancestry DNA tests. Don't have smart home devices. Don't let your car insurance company track your driving.

Been getting a lot of followers from presumably bot accounts following hundreds of thousands of people. If I was in charge of a social media platform, my first action would be to permaban any user following 100K or more users with no chance of appeal.

Saw a Shen Yun poster on the window of a restaurant that's shutting down because their landlord is raising the rent too much. Shen Yun can be as critical of communism as they want, but that restaurant wouldn't be having this problem if Mao was still around, I'll tell you that much.

Five years ago I thought I was so efficient rewriting my website in Vue.js. A year ago I thought I'd be even more efficient in Svelte. Today, I am wise enough to realize that the most efficient website is plain old static HTML pages. www.hauntedbees.com. New and improved. Shadow DOM and SPA-free.
