If I melted this ice and drank part of it, would I die a very painful death?

But like yeah, H1B1 can be a net good when not in the hands of people like Vice Peter Thiel and President Elon Musk. If you're asking why MAGA is against visas, it's because they are racists.

the higher tier positions (engineers/developers) you hire college educated people that are from countries where low wages and high hours are totally normal. If they wanted to increase access to higher education and raise the standards/funding of public education in America it'd be a different story.

I mean by themselves and H1B1 visas are great. How the oligarchy uses them is a bit evil though. It's all part of a larger plan to get rid of abortion and the department of education so you have an endless supply of low education Americans who only qualify for low wage/entry level jobs. Then for

I am aware and yes there will be fighting but MAGA swallows whatever Trump puts in their mouth. He will come out and give some word soup speech about he has the best plan, Elon isn't president but is a smart guy, and that he's still going to deport a lot of people. And they will forget about this.

The more I hear ppl say this, the less I think it isn't going to happen. Similar to all the "Trump will go to prison" or "Latinos will turn their backs on Trump" or "The Mueller Report will be the end of Trump" type predictions made over and over about Trump that didn't come true.

The request to see if it could be used as a detention center was made by Biden's administration

I'll be honest, I that told me more about you than Elizabeth Warren.

Is that why she's president right now? Because her "rot at the top" narrative has been so successful?

There's having a narrative and then there's having *this particular narrative* which is "Elizabeth Warren sent a letter to a fascist and asked him politely to stop. And if the US falls to fascism the Dems will be able to point to this and say 'see we asked him politely to stop.'" bad narrative.

If something has no effect and will be immediately forgotten is it still something? Or it nothing with extra steps?

Narratives about Trump don't work to sway voters. If they did there wouldn't be a second term for him. Dems want to consult the rulebook while Republicans just flip the board. The political game is not the same as 20 years ago. And as long as dems want to say ☝️ 🤓 "actually", they will lose.

I'm watching A Biltmore Christmas right now, it is surprisingly good. I just wish they were a little more historically accurate with the hair. But I'm hella picky when it comes to modern movies set in the 1940s. The leads are so good though.

Right, pick basically any conspiracy theory and if you get in deep enough it always comes back to "because Jewish ppl." Even a core part of flat earth theory is based in anti semitism.

I feel like this is a peak into Trump's playbook for his second term.

It's kind of impressive, a coat of paint was able to turn a timeless Tudor style home into mcmansion.

disabled ppl. Maybe there should be some financial assistance for ppl who can't afford these bikes? And your response is "these bikes are cheaper than a car" and "not all ppl traveling to the hospital are disabled". You are a very silly goose.

1. Ok let's review: the original skeet talks about ppl using medical care as a barrier for better bike lanes and then uses a cancer survivor who biked to appointments as an example of what's possible. My comment is I'm not sure this example is applicable to permanently or temporarily

Great, I'll let low income disabled ppl know "it's less than that car you also weren't able to afford."
