I’m might unfollow anyone that follows hardly anyone back and/or doesn’t engage with others. I’m going to try and make social media in 2025 about quality not quantity. I think we’re going to need less “content creators” in our lives and more meaningful connections over the next few years.

But I’m hopeful! The #mutuals feed is a start and I’d love to be able to figure out how to apply the tiktok algorithm to the #discover feed. Personally, I’m going to try and actually engage people instead of fully setting into quip-tossing/absorbing.

I’m still hopeful that this platform will have some of that magic though it kinda already seems like it’s immediately veering towards people tossing quips and nudes into the void to amass followers with no real interactions. Which is fine!
