The biggest loser from the DeepSeek announcement is OpenAI. OpenAI has been bragging they’re close to AGI and charge $200/month to access their top model. DeepSeek just gave equivalent tech away for free on GitHub. Nvidia will still sell GPUs, OpenAI has been dealt a mortal blow.
