Yeah, cuz people in authoritarian regimes are renown for their enthusiasm for doing the dear leader's bidding and not keeping their heads down, living in terror that someone else will rat them out

Yes, years ago I read everything except Big Sky which I'm currently halfway through. Love, love, love her books. Up until now, I think I would have put Human Croquet and Case Histories at the top, but I loved both Life After Life and A God in Ruins so much, they are new faves.
