8 wins- many are forgetting this is a completely new offensive unit and offense takes time.

Exactly. It’s like saying I with Hitler because he’s the President.

And this one too! O was good; could have become elite w/ a few adjustments; but they reset that side of the ball & had to fill holes w/ this draft. Instead of building on top of what they have, they keep resetting unwilling to pay 2nd contracts-which is what indicates true grade of a draft class

Hyping up the team after the draft is critical bcos many content creators need content to survive for the next 2 months.
comment in response to

That’s the issue isn’t it. We think the talent is there based on some evaluations. That’s why they are prospects. We won’t know if they are cut out for NFL or not until 2-3 years into their career. It’s a combination of both coaching and scouting. It isn’t one or the other. Don’t believe the PR
comment in response to
post
Absolutely aligned on this! Seems like these guys forgot about the FA and hyping up the team bcos they drafted “well” - which, again, you won’t know until after 2 years. Feel free to grade the draft and have fun &all; but let’s be realistic about the team and where they are.

Why were they so enamored with him? Given these folks live and breathe football for a living, are they focusing too much on the ceiling?

Whoa, calm down. This is just a discussion. Nothing this GM does has given me confidence. So unless I see results, call me a skeptic.
comment in response to
post
Sure… still can only work with the talent he has and Seahawks have done nothing except get a rookie guard. We all saw what the others were last yr. Even if they improve, expecting them to make a huge jump is not realistic
comment in response to
post
All these are prospects right now. The guard position has no depth and one side of the guard position is a big question mark. Expecting a rookie class to contribute heavily rarely happens. That’s why it’s a rarity. I am not saying “don’t be excited”. I am just saying this roster is still unproven
comment in response to

If 4-5 players on this draft can become day 1 starters and at least 2-3 of them can be difference makers, then I think we can compete. And most of them have to be on OL!
comment in response to
post
IOL is still question mark w/ just potential. The scheme can of course help; but many are just assuming Kubiak is a genius and he will make it work and all these iOL will suddenly be studs! WRs are a big ? after JSN. TE doesn’t give me any confidence (no depth) and on D, we nee LB and CB and edge
comment in response to
post
Still some big gaping holes; hoping for the rare thing where 4-5 players from the rookie class can be the difference makers- like in 2011,2012! Let’s see

JS has had a great draft! Now time to see how good these players can translate in the NFL! I badly want them to since I want #Seahawks to be relevant again!

Corbin, if not for his ACL, where do you think he would have been taken?
comment in response to

I have trauma from all the offseason hype every year. So, put me in the skeptical bucket until proven.
comment in response to

I hope this draft is like the Rams draft last yr. If 4 in this class is a hit and are game changers, it will be huge!
comment in response to
post
They have still large size holes in their roster and every thing you are seeing now are projections. So, until we get into the season, it’s super hard to gauge! OL, QB, WR2, TE are all big Qs on Offense. Defense still needs a game changing edge rusher and we need CB depth and LB depth
comment in response to
post
This is just evil… how can People justify supporting this? We have 74 million evils voters amongst us for electing this regime
comment in response to
post
The hope is they crushed the draft. These are prospects and we will know if they made the team better or not only in a
couple of yrs. JS has taken major swings on Day 2. High risk = High reward! Super excited to see where this team heads and can’t wait to see these kids on the field

And great read btw… as always
comment in response to

The fact that folks keep talking about a player who hasn’t played a single down and making it all about him in this draft is enough to know why no team wants him. Why is the media hyper focused on Shaduer when many players like him were overlooked in drafts?
