Absolutely. I've been doing it for years. It's kicked into high gear in the last month.

Under the hood, I'm a Linux fan, but over the years I've witnessed people doing amazing things with all sorts of platforms. If it works for you, who am I to tell you to use something different? Now if you ask... *GRIN*

Just commenting on the practicality of learning Morse code and that I have taken steps to lock my non-Apple stuff down.

I've logged a ton of time in both. I have my preferences (and my reasons why).

Also, @buffalo716.bsky.social and @hey-ey-ey-ey.bsky.social, use what works for you. If Apple works for you, that's fine. Just make sure that you're using strong encryption to protect the REALLY sensitive stuff. That's for everyone, no matter the platform.

Morse code isn't a bad thing to know. My Linux-based ecosystem is locked down, encrypted, and as secure as it can be. I don't need to worry about what spyware Apple or Microsoft are pushing. My preferred UI is a command prompt, which is tailored exactly to my preferences.

Probably. @vchiesibrown.bsky.social is currently re-re-watching the game, so I'll check. We used to have alternate names for plays/blocking schemes, including dummy calls that meant nothing, just to keep the defense guessing.

Yes. I bring it up often. I use SLUG (the one-page rules) to this day with a sprinkling of Fudge. Next step is to try the diceless Fudge rules.
