I never tried it so I can’t tell you for sure. But I think if you don’t mind waking up your console using its power button and you don’t use the C function, you won’t miss a lot not upgrading. That’s what I’m doing. But again, I never tried the new controller.

I’m using the Switch 1 pro controller without any problem. However, you can’t wake the console using it.
