source: someone who voted for a candidate that refused to demand a ceasefire during a literal genocide

My point being, heteronormativity is an emergent reality that I’m bringing to your attention. Now, you being fragile and incoherent, are of course entitled to interpret that however you please. That has no bearing on me.

It’s not bullshit, you just disagree or claim to deny it. You can’t escape heteronormativity because without it, life wouldn’t proliferate. If the majority of a species were gay and couldn’t reproduce, they’d quickly go extinct. You need normalcy to proliferate, reproduce, and advance.

Oh I’m not your ally. I believe what you do, or claim to be, is an atrocity. That being said, I even more strongly believe that you have a right to pursue that, so long as you don’t harm other people and whatnot. Nobody should take that away from you, even if it’s disgusting. Everybody deserves that

That IS the default human setting. You’re ALLOWED to exist aside from it, but that doesn’t change the fact that biological life is inherently heteronormative. Life, small and large, in all places, is USUALLY hetero. Not bashing, just saying.

Could it have something to do with Minneapolis being in the 10th percentile for safety? 90% of all cities in the US have less crime per capita. Who would want to try and do construction in a place like that? Much less live there…??? Police there are no better, as corrupt as they come…

Women think therapists care the way men think the stripper loves them… it’s a profitable business either way

No, but what can I do for them? Why do these arguments always have to be presented in this infantilized worldview that these people are entirely incapable of change? Some of them are comfortable, won't admit it. The republicans aren't going to fix it. Why trust them to fix the problem THEY created?

I mean, is that really not an obvious question to you? We've already been fucked by right-wingers. It only gets worse from here unless people decide to fuck back. Speak to their wallet, I guarantee the ass will listen. Deep down, people really only truly learn things the hard way.

Yeah I am actually envisioning the opposite. I don't care about trying to fix broken red state bullshit. I want to financially punish stupidity and let them sort themselves out on their own time and dime. That's the only thing that really works with these sorts of problems.
comment in response to post
That's how we got to where we are today. We need to find a way to disincentivize being stupid in the first place in a meaningful way, collectively. I don't want to EXIST near morons. I don't want to drive around them, live near them, work around them, etc. How could this be accomplished?

It always comes down to moderation. Bluesky is riddled with porn. Unusable in a public place, even with the controls turned on and everything.

Not particularly, tbh. Just started new job building fighter jets, while still technically full time at my old job for another few weeks… very tired. Sounds fkn cool tho. If the govt ever genuinely fucks me or my family over im just gonna start throwing bricks til they shoot me

Good, fuck them! (I live in one, but am secure, and not a right winger)

U really hit the nail on the head with this one

This the shit that piss me off about this website. It’s really not reasonable to expect people to be ready for meaningful mass protest or chaotic direct action until their quality of life is affected. Exceptions maybe for unionized and laid off, but the rest of the country is still trucking along

Remember, some of your neighbors might be supporters. Don’t let them visit quietly, make sure they see your disdain for them, make them hear your voice, see your signs, etc.

I’m not voting for any party that supports Israel or candidates that support Israel. If it means risking a right wing administration, then so be it. I’d rather not vote at all if I’m voting for Israel’s continued genocidal existence.

He wasn’t in the chat though, right? Why would he lie when all the texts are being published for us to see? I don’t think he’s competent and I’m no fan of his, but I think trying to shoehorn him into a situation he seems to not be involved in seems intellectually dishonest.

I mean, it’s objectively less accurate, I’ll give him that. Still, painting is very difficult and obviously an ancient and noble art form. Even the masters can make mistakes. He’s the last person who should complain anyways, much as he likes plastering his name and likeness everywhere.

Roy showing up to fight Lust and save Alphonse and the Lieutenant is the best moment of the show so far. That’s how a man protects his people!!!
