Should make a few repeating characters and a little main goal. What is their odd hustle? A sort of adult Ed, Edd and Eddy sort of deal? Getting moolah for their own quote unquote jawbreaker? Maybe they keep bumping into an annoying traveler named Earl, who is a trucker who travels the same route. XD
