There are also 2nd order beneficial effects to consider. Much of this gets passed over to beneficiaries via supplemental benefits that trad MCR doesn't cover (dental, vision, reduced copays); in addition, the spillover effect of better care/outcomes for the FFS population served by MA centric docs

Was it not covered by Medicare? If it was, then your max OOP would be $2k for the year or $167 per month.
