This has serious implications for the credibility of #Cochrane @Cochrane

Despite years of work and input from the IAG & new author group, Cochrane fails to address critical issues in its review of exercise therapy for ME/CFS. Worse, Cochrane has not followed its own stated processes & principles. Now the IAG has a message for Cochrane. www.meaction.net/2025/01/24/c...

Remember when the pandemic began and everyone started accommodating remote work? Everyone began showing brand new movies and live concerts streaming? Disabled people had been fighting for this for decades. Now it’s all taken away. It’s not that they can’t accommodate us, they just don’t want to.

#Ireland We have a lot to learn! Not even aspirations... @michealmartin.bsky.social #CleanAir was your hallmark!

It's not so much mutations spontaneously emerging in individuals that is most concerning, but the fact that flu season is ramping up, giving H5N1 more opportunities to mix with human influenza strains, @angierasmussen.bsky.social told me. www.nbcnews.com/health/healt...

Covid19 should be declared an occupational health disease for ALL workers as in Peru. Covid is airborne and everywhere. Long COVID is going to be a major economic burden & workers should have the rights to not end up losing their livelihood from COVID. www.covid19litigation.org/news/2023/09...

COVID: it's a vascular disease

Myalgic Encephalomyelitis: 1. Sufferers have lower quality-of-life than patients with heart failure, MS & end-stage renal disease. 2. Recovery is rare. 3. Treatment is often more harmful than helpful. 4. <1/3 of med schools include it in curriculum. 5. It's the NIH's least funded disease vs burden.

it’s not fear mongering, it’s something we all knew would have happened. and it’s so obvious this will only be the first critical pediatric case. it has already happened with several flu since centuries

In no surprise to anyone who follows me, I follow COVID news closely. So I can say that it’s rare to have pieces of such scholarly quality & interest on the topic in MSM. Here’s another well-researched long-form installment from Hayley Gleeson that needs bookmarking. www.abc.net.au/news/2024-12...

As the World Health Organization @who.int begins a third year seeking consensus for the international treaty on pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response, there is a glaring omission—recovery, write Jeremy S Rossman and Vicky van der Togt

Worth reiterating that H5N1 has never behaved like this. Millions of infections in North America combined with what seem to be multiple modes of transmission combined with growing numbers of human infections combined with flu season is a time bomb. www.bbc.com/news/article...

It still astonishes me that more people in politics and our media pretend to be concerned about kids having missed school than kids having been killed or sickened by Covid.
