That's fun! I would not be surprised if some of them are now John Schu readers. :)

You can still use those words. It’s just good to give some extra consideration I suppose. Or maybe you’ll even be sparked to think of something new. 😊

Not yet, except that we’ll head to Canada for dinner when it gets here which is especially exciting because our tiny town doesn’t have too many choices.

I definitely think a second read is in order. I need to do that too. There are so many details that I’m certain I missed on first read!

That is so fun! I love when illustrators create extra paths for kids to follow. And Lowly is such a fascinating character. #kidlitchat

Nice! And you are already doing art work! Folktale Weed made me realize I need to commit to doing this for a period of time to see if it works. At this point one month sounds like a lot but I am just going to say it. One month!

Cool! Are you going to try it? I wrote lots of stuff to throw out but hopefully I am moving towards having an actual workable draft some day soon.

I like that perspective. Thank you! I have been putting off writing too for a while. Having some free time helped me realize I need to recommit and not ignore when I want to write or have an idea. If you need a check in buddy let me know!

Well, I got a crummy draft done and I don't like it. I think I need to skew the story younger and I am making it overcomplicated, so I'm going to try for another one!
